My name is Josh Martin. I am a web application developer, administrator, entrepreneur, and father living in Spokane, Washington. I have been developing web based applications for nearly a decade with a focus on security, scalability, and using/creating open source based solutions.

This is the only blog that I have produced. Over the years I have despised “blogging without reason”. I don’t want to read about what color you dyed your hair or that your cat died. I could care less. What I want to know is what useful information you have that you want to share with the community. This invaluable information really goes a long way when you have searched high and low. So from here out I promise to keep it lively, not bicker and wine, and only provide solid facts about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to scalable architecture and my dances with the devil.
